SHERMAN, TX -- More than 100 people worked out for a wish in Sherman on Saturday.
Workout for a Wish was held at Nautilus Family Fitness from 8:30 AM until noon.
Participants pumped-up funds through a Ripped, Zumba and Cycle session.
More than $21,000 was raised at the fundraiser that benefits Wishing Well Texoma, a non-profit that makes dreams come true for area children battling life-threatening or catastrophic illnesses.
"This is an opportunity to get really grounded and understand that us as a team, us as a facility, us as management, employees and members have the opportunity to do so much for some people that really need it," says General Manager, Dustin Merrell.
Awards were handed out to the top two money raisers. First place included $500 towards a vacation and second place included one night at Choctaw Casino and Resorts.
