(DENISON, TEXAS) -- Saturday was the final day of the World Aerobatics Championship at the North Texas Regional Airport.

The day began with pilots finishing up competitions that were delayed due to bad weather earlier this week.

Pilot David Martin is from Texas and says he's thrilled to have a competition of this caliber in his home state, " it's pretty special to have it anywhere in the united states but to have it here in Grayson County like I said before this is the best place in the world for an aerobatics contest and the people here you know Mike Shahan the airport manager..everybody has always done whatever they can do to help us out when we have an aerobatics contest here."
