MARSHALL COUNTY, OK -- Marshall County firefighters are on the agenda to propose a tax increase at the commissioner's meeting Monday.

County commissioners will decide whether or not to place a quarter cent sales tax on the June ballot.

The money would go towards equipment for the county's fire departments.

Marshall County Fire and Safety Chairman James Kuykendall says out of the eleven departments in the county, ten of them are volunteer.
