FANNIN COUNTY, TX - The jury trial for a man charged with killing three of his family members is expected to start Monday morning.
Thomas Taunton is accused of killing his mother, step-father, and sister in January of 2012.
Authorities later found their bodies dumped along Highway 11 in Grayson County.
Taunton is charged with capital murder of multiple persons, and felony murder.
In March, prosecutors told News 12 they are no longer asking for the death penalty, but if Taunton is found guilty they will be asking for life without parole.
Jury selection is expected to start at 8:30 Monday morning.
We'll have a reporter in the courtroom, and you can watch News 12 for full coverage of the trial, which could last as long as two weeks.
