7-18-05 - Texas Rangers pitcher Kenny Rogers now has more than a 20-game suspension and $50,000 fine to worry about. The Rangers' lefty surrendered to authorities today after he was charged with misdemeanor assault in the shoving of two cameramen.

7-16-05 - A 75-year-old Bokchito woman died Saturday in a crash on Highway 75 in Denison, just south of the Texas state line. Denison police say Florena Lauderdale died at the scene of the accident.
