Fatal accident shuts down Highway 75 on Saturday

Updated: 12/06/2009 - Sherman, TX--A fatal accident shut down both sides of the highway from the late afternoon throughout the evening. The accident happened just after 4 p.m. on the southbound side of Highway 75 on the Center Street bridge. Sherman Police say a man was driving a late model Chevrolet Silverado extended cab when he struck a guardrail on the left side of the road and continued skidding down the bridge railing. The victim was Billie Keith Carney from Van Alstyne.
