ARDMORE, OK -- An Ardmore family puts on a Christmas light extravaganza all to raise money for a cause that isclose to their heart.
Sara Humphrey brings us their story.

Amber Marr was diagnosed with type I diabetes at an early age.

"I was diagnosed with diabetes at age nine so it has been almost 25 years," Marr said.

With Christmas being right around the corner the Marr family has found a festive way to raise money for something that, for them and many others hits close to home.

"It's a lot a work it's about 5,000 feet of extension cord, 1600 white 90 of animation. A lot goes into it." Marr said.

For the past 3 years the Marr family has put on the nightly show where they accept donations for Juvenile Diabetes Research.

The Marr family invites anyone looking to get into the Christmas spirit to come enjoy their holiday tradition at 211 Abshire Circle in Ardmore.

The family says 100% of the proceeds go to the Juvenile Diabetes research foundation.
