Oklahoma man crushed to death at cattle sale

WAURIKA, Okla. (AP) - Authorities say a Stephens County man was crushed to death by a cow during a cattle sale in Jefferson County.

Authorities say 54-year-old Kenneth Wayne Wall died in the accident Tuesday during the Waurika Cattle Sale. The Lawton Constitution reports that an agitated cow pinned Wall into a metal gate and crushed him.

Authorities say a nurse attending the cattle show administered medical care but that Wall died shortly after the incident.

Wall had worked at the sale barn for about a decade, sorting cattle and doing maintenance work. He lived in Duncan and graduated from Comanche High School.
