DAVIS, OK -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says alcohol was a factor in a collision that sent a Sulphur man to the hospital Sunday morning.
Just after 3:00 AM, troopers say 35-year-old Michael Simpson was driving on a county road near Davis when he crossed the center line and left the roadway. Investigators say he plowed through two fences, hit a tree, then crashed into another fence and electrical substation.
Simpson was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
