The last time my wife and I went to the doctor at Texoma Care at TMC, we were told they would no longer accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. Do they understand that every teacher in the Denison ISD has Blue Cross and most probably uses Texoma Medical? Every teacher in the county and state that works in a school district using TRS system has Blue Cross. We like our doctors we see at Texoma Care facility but will have no choice but to find someone else or pay the extra money. We were told they were working on getting it worked, but I am worried about it.

I teach in another district close to Denison. I, as well as many of the surrounding districts, have TRS Blue Cross Blue Shield. I, too, am forced with the decision to find another doctor or pay private pay for my children to visit a pediatrician in Denison. I pay SEVERAL hundreds of dollars monthly for my insurance coverage. I cannot afford to pay private pay. My children have seen this doctor for over ten years. He is wonderful, kind, and very caring. As I write, tears form in my eyes.I believe the children are the ones that will suffer the most in this situation. It saddens me, deeply.
