Annual Quilt Hop

As part of the 2012 Bonham Quilt Hop, the Sam Rayburn House Museum will display quilts from the historic collection of the Sam Bell Maxey House Historic Site along with Rayburn collection quilts. The Quilt Hop is a city wide festivity and will be held on July 28 from 9:00am to 4:30pm. This is a free event.
Rayburn House tours focused on the quilt collection will be offered and a presentation about the Sam Bell Maxey Quilt collection will be given at 10:00am and again at 2:00pm. Hands on educational activities for children will also be provided by the Museum.
