Posted: 7:53 PM May 3, 2012
TEXAS-- Starting Monday, Texans applying for a drivers license for the first time, will have to prove they live in the state.
The new law only applies to first time applicants.
They'll be required to present two documents containing their name, address, and proof of residency.
They also must have lived in the state for at least 30 days, or have a valid out of state license.
