ARDMORE, OK - An Ardmore man pleaded guilty Friday to his role in an armed robbery that turned deadly two years ago.
Court records show 43-year-old Corey Stoughtenborough is convicted with conspiracy to commit first-degree armed robbery.
Carter County District Attorney Craig Ladd said Stoughtenborough is sentenced to serve eight years in prison.
In April 2010 , Stoughtenborough's roommate Eric Knight was killed during an armed robbery.
Stoughtenborough was not home at the time when Knight was murdered but prosecutors said they have evidence he conspired with three other men to rob Knight.
