L-3 Air Traffic Control Academy shuts down

DENISON, TX-A Denison air traffic control school has closed its doors.
The L-3 Air Traffic Control Academy at the North Texas Regional Airport shut down after three years in operation. L-3 representative, Rick Oyler said a lack of demand led them to end classes in September. He says ten people worked at the academy and they will get severance benefits.
Oyler said tower operations will stop in June.
