GRAYSON COUNTY, TX-- The Grayson County Health Department is giving lakegoers the green light to hit the water on lake texoma.

They said the results of their tests show the level of toxicity from blue green algae is insignificant, meaning the water is not harmful.

These results have not changed since the last round of tests done in March.

The Army Corps of Engineers tests for algae content. They still have an advisory in place, meaning they discourage contact from the water.

But the health department said the water in the lake is safe.
