Double negative. So you DO believe in vaccinations?

Honestly when I have my first child I am giving him/her the series of shots and vaccines he needed. If you choose to have your kid go unprotected that's unto you. But honestly you should weigh the pros and cons of Measles and having the measles shots. Reaction to the shot is possible, but would you rather have a high grade fever and possibly death, or be a little sick from your body reacting to the inactive virus?
I'd chose the latter.
By not vaccinating your kid you put your kid as well as other unvaccinated kids at risk, that's a smart move, and as for the vaccine causing autism- the vaccine is generally administered between 4-6, whenever Autism is diagnosed. Stop blaming it on people that try to help us, and instead blame it on faulty strands of DNA.

Interesting that the former director of the CDC now is president of Merck Vaccines. Follow the money trail people. "Then-director of the Centers for Disease Control Julie Gerberding (who is now President of Merck Vaccines) stated: "The government has made absolutely no statement indicating that vaccines are a cause of autism. This does not represent anything other than a very specific situation and a very sad situation as far as the family of the affected child."

How can not vaccinating my children, put "everyone" at risk? Wouldn't the risk only be to my unvaccinated children, not the public in general who are "protected" by the vaccines? Vaccines can and do cause irreparable harm to children every day. According to the CDC, approximately 30,000 VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) reports are filed annually, with 10-15% classified as serious (resulting in permanent disability, hospitalization, life-threatening illnesses or death). So can YOU guarantee me that a vaccine will not harm my child? Nope, didn't think so. As far as the autism link, a US family was awarded $1.5 million for their daughter developing autism after her vaccines. Here's the link http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-31727_162-20015982-10391695.html There are almost 5,000 more cases coming up in the court system of families sueing because their children were damaged. Compare that to these numbers: On May 24, 2011 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that the United States has had 118 measles cases so far this year. The 118 cases were reported by 23 states and New York City between Jan 1 and May 20. Of the 118 cases, 105 (89%) were associated with cases abroad. It is my right as a parent to make the best choices for my children, and for now they will not receive the vaccine until possibly they are older and have built up their immune system to handle the toxins that the vaccines introduce into their system.

I cannot stress enough how important vaccines are for kids, adults too. They is NO evidence vaccines cause autism, etc. It was basically a rumor. Children receive vaccinations at 4-6 years of age, when autism and developmental delays are commonly diagnosed. Coincidence? By not vaccinating your kids, you put everyone at risk.
