they told us they were going to build this mammoth new lodge and showed us the pictures and plans, that was i think three years ago, when the last time we went there,we didnt see a new lodge but they still had the big fancy layout pictures in the lobby we seen them i think they told us the cheapest room was 250.00 a night and that was for a room with four walls and a pee bucket, i think they are building a party pad for okla. congress and family, they have leaps and bounds on the cheap little cottage cabins,in three years it looked like they doctored up 3 or 4 and called them remodeled,or maybe the money just disappeared and the state dont know what happened to it like the money okla. as given by the federal government to fix the roads and bridges 20 yrs. ago that just couldnt be accounted for and never was found, and mum was the word.

i didn't realize they were drilling around lake murry. 15 million dollars, those must be some above average oil and gas wells.

The money is from "Lake Murray Property" oil & gas lease land and mineral royalties. NO tax monies are being used.

Do your research on Point Vista. Aubrey McClendon is one of the main guys in the purchase and you just need to do a search on "Chesapeake CEO" to get the lowdown on him. They've been operating on borrowed money so long now they are in a bind and he's being investigated. Someone may build but it won't be the origional group and it won't be anytime soon. They bought and paid for JP Gum and now he's gone to Mississippi or somewhere. Not even in Oklahoma any longer. Done took his money and RUN! I'm telling you this whole thing is very bad. Vista Point is in big trouble and they lied to the good folks of Marshall and Bryan county as well as the State of Oklahoma. Now let's see if Ms. Fallin can (or will) sort this out! Congrats to Lake Murry. They must have their stroke in the right place. The Lodge area looks like something from the show "After people". The Okies have been robbed!

Well the state can sure come up with millions when it's a pet project in the middle of nowhere. We need to clean house in Oklahoma legislature next election.

Agreed 100% Jay Paul got all of their campaign contributions and still couldn't win, he and a few others sold out the people of Bryan County. Does Marshall County not have any State land with Oil or Gas wells on them. Something still stinks about this whole deal ....... maybe we can get a grass roots movement and bring to the attention of our elected officials.

MAYBE LAKE MURRY WILL TAKE ALL THE BUSINESS FROM TEXOMA. THE ALGEA IS STILL IN THE LAKE EVEN THO THEY SAY ITS NOT. THEY ARE JUST HOPING THEY CAN GET PEOPLE TO COME FOR MEMORIAL WEEKEND. MAYBE IT WILL COME A REALLY GOOD RAIN STORM AND STAY ALL WEEKEND. POINT VISTA WILL BUILD WHEN THEY WANT TO. THEY OWN THE LAND NOT THE STATE. YEA FOR THEM. AND YOU CAN BET THEY ARE NOT BROKE. WAY TO GO LAKE MURRY.

What happened to those scammers that bought the Lake Texoma Lodge? I think they are in financial trouble (like broke!) They will never follow through with their plans at Lake Texoma. Where is Jay Paul Gum? Good for Lake Murry since the STATE will finance their lodge. Now maybe the great Governer of Oklahoma will sort out the mess at Texoma. No good marinas on the Oklahoma side. Murry is kicking Texoma's tail!
