Cartwright! Whooo hooo! Free education too AND cheaper car tags! It gets better all the time!

Not to mention how many Oklahoma licensed vehicles are seen picking up kiddos from DISD campuses on a daily basis. Almost seen like Denison is running an unadvertized Oklahoma welfare program with it's ISD tax dollars.

You mean control access to our PUBLIC roadways. I have no problem proving that I am who I say I am and that I reside where I say I reside. You shouldn't either and remember to thank an illegal immigrant for the policy change! p.s. the S in DPS is for SAFETY...so they ain't doing investigations into drug dealers or rapists...THAT'S the job of the LEOs

"They'll be required to present two documents containing their name, address, and proof of residency." Nowhere deos it say they must be "DIFFERENT" as you stated. Reading comprehension is your friend. p.s. ALOT of kids these days are waiting until they are 18 to get their license, due to crushing insurance rates...

You can thank the illegal immigrants from Oklahoma for this law. Does anybody realize how many Okies do this to avoid paying the Oklahoma state tax? It would blow your mind. Okie just comes to Texas, get a post office box or loaner address, drivers licenses, voters registration card, lottery tickets and a case of beer and then heads back to Oklahoma to reap the best of both worlds. No state tax, no property tax and better beer.

It appears that the DPS should simply ask KXII website readers how to run things.

School records, yes.. but not 2 DIFFERENT types of identification..
Kind of redundant if you ask me.. I would worry about those that are actually of age and trying to get a liscense 19-25 years old or such not 16 year olds..

A 16 year old will have school records. As to the 6-cylinder car and radio, that has no bearing on whether they are a danger to themselves and others. That comes from their parenting and is nothing but a strawman arguement. p.s. Remember to thank an illegal immigrant for this new policy. p.p.s. "can't barely" means you can easily do it...that parenting thing again...

How the heck is a 16 year old going to PROVE they live somewhere? I can't barely do it now at 46- utilities in husbands name not mine... That makes no sense especially since they can still have 6 cylinder cars and a radio in it being first time drivers! That is more dangerous than where they live..
