He was a special needs young man. He was chasing after a ball and fell in. His brother tried to save him but Jose was taking him under. He had to swim away to get a flotation device and when he came back to save his brother, Jose had gone under. I had Jose in PE and he loved life. Very good boy. His brother is not to blame, he did his best and should be at peache that Jose is in Heaven now.
It's a horrible tragedy. Does anyone know if the reason he went under was because he wasn't a strong swimmer or were there currents that we need to be aware of???
My family and i were fishing at the lake when the drowning occured. My thoughts and prayers go out to this family at this devastating time. May god give you peace.Bonham Ambulance and fire depts along with the fannin county sheriffs office was very quick to respond a big thankyou to those Departments.
