No. We don't know how long this will take. Please enlighten us.

Well, that was a dose of something, but not reality. More like BS. I love the idiotic part about "Obama's census takers". Like there were no census takers during every other administration when the census was conducted. And the number of LOCAL jobs this creates will be very small. And to top off the comment with the "King Obama" stupidity shows just what kind of nut-job "Dose of BS" really is.

Sigh....great! Pull the ol' race card when all else fails. Let me inform you of something since you obviously don't understand, Obama did NOT get into office with the black vote, it was the white vote that put him there. Isn't that funny how all of these black-hating racists voted him into office? As far as the "at least he's honest", I hope you are joking. If not, remove your blinders and give common sense and logic a whirl. We all love his honesty about things like fast & furious, the transparent government, the awesome uniting of the country he has done, the overwhelming sense of accountability he has shown (notice he nevers blames Bush or the Republicans for his failures), etc. Geeezzz, do you live under a rock?

Thanks for enlightening us that the high fuel prices are the Republicans fault. We all knew it couldn't be Obama's fault - nothing is!!! BTW, fuel prices have come down significantly in the past 2-3 weeks. Is that due to the Republicans? Oh no, that's a good thing so it HAS to be something Obama did. You liberals are a bad, misguided joke!!!

The temporary boost to the area won't pay for the destruction to the environment just to build and ship Canada's dirty, dirty oil to China. The US has no use for tar sands oil - it makes crude look refined. Shame on Canada for destroying pristine environment to make a buck. Shame on US for allowing this to cross our land just because Canada didn't want the tankers in their harbors. It won't do anything for the price of our gasoline. Stupid people.

This oil is "dirty oil" and is to be shipped to China. We have more oil in West Texas than we can use, but no pipeline to the coast??? What you "the voters" fail to realize is that the oil companies are owned by republicans, and so are the speculators. They have more than doubled the price of fuel since Obama took office, intentionally slowing the economy, & getting rich in the process. If we had a democrat house/senate, perhaps the president could accomplish something. Though I don't agree w/ every thing he's tried to do (healthcare, his poorly conceived economic stimulus, etc.) I don't hate him because he's black, like many of you do. He may not do everything correctly, but at least he's honest, and I'm not sure any of the republican candidates can say that.

Yeah, uh, I guess so. This isn't going to create any good, long-term jobs like Obama's census takers did. Get real! Do you guys know how long this will take and how many people (directly and indirectly) this will employee? Obviously not! You liberals so blindly support Obama you can't even see the obvious. Come back down to reality before we are all broke and unemployed! You laugh, but if this continues, you will be bowing to King Obama soon! Don't be fooled again!

Pro-USA, huh? I bet you are also pro-states rights. Apparently, you forget however, that the people of Nebraska were firmly opposed to the proposed route of the pipeline. Had Obama not rejected the the original proposal you would have been crying about the federal government trampling state rights. As Obama indicated when he rejected the original proposal, if they came back with an acceptable route, he'd likely approve it. That alternative route was recently submitted, and in the near future, will likely be approved. Yes, here in this election year re-election has become a priority for Obama. Of course, for the past 3 plus years, preventing his re-election has been the only priority for Republicans, and clowns like Sen. Mitch McConnell have made that perfectly clear. Meanwhile, Obama is going about the business of doing his job, and you and your ilk just keep on whining.

It's an economic wave passing thru and the Republicans are going surfing! No long term economic impact. I look forward to the nickel I save in gas once the speculators calculate its effect on the WORLD market. For some, they're taking home million dollar paydays on this! On the economic pyramid, we the consumers are at the bottom...as always. We ride the wave also as it passes, just on our bellies!

At least Obama can't put the stop to this part of it! What was he thinking??? No worries though, now is the time to do it though since he is up for re-election. He will do anything to get re-elected so maybe we can get it all the way to Canada. Re-election is clearly his top (maybe only) priority!
