SHERMAN, TX-The Grayson County Children's Advocacy Center has moved back into their newly renovated facility.
The 2,000 sq. foot facility now includes an additional door at the entrance for increased security, barriers at the waiting area for client privacy and more therapy rooms.
Forensic interviewer Bobbi Wieck said they needed more space because they've seen a dramatic increase in the number of kids they serve. She said they have more than 500 kids came to the C.A.C. last year and some of them had to be put on a waiting list because there was no room.

"A lot of times when we had a busy afternoon with therapy and then we also had a busy afternoon with forensic interviews, we didn't have enough space for people to sit down to wait for their appointment time," she said.

Wieck said they plan to extend the building another 2,000 sq. ft. to add a kitchen area, a state-of-the-art interview room and more office space.
