When is the news going to come out about a former employee of Fannin County Electric Coop stealing money? Supposedly, she has since been fired.

I see we still do not dig for the whole news at kxii. 5 year old dog, home alone for the first time. Was she in yard or house, how did she get out, did he have her 5 years and we are expected to believe 1st time home alone. Or he just got her and does not really know her temperment. KXII still needs to learn how to dig for news and not just write the script they are fed.

If you are unemployed, maybe you should use your time cleaning house before tricking businesses with families into moving to a good ole boy run county where the good ole boys are above the law.

What better way would ladoniashelterorg have of gaining support from citizens and making the city use their shelter and quit hassling them than to let rook's dog out when he was gone, get it to follow him to town and wait for the officer to shoot the city in it's own foot and make the officer look bad in the process with his outrageous attempts at animal control? Just my opinion but when reading through the old Ladonia group pages from that date it seems to show that ladoniashelterorg used the incident to expose conditions at the city pound to justify his suggestion that the city use ladoniashelter.org's free shelter to deal with stray's humanely from then on so city could avoid lawsuits and trouble. Seems like wolfboy is trying to keep the controversy going whatever way he can so he goes from defending patty's story to becoming the citys and the officers new best friend's loudest defenders (so they will give him his permit and suppress barking dog noise complaints enforcement) Afterall, look at all the group ranting about all he has done for Ladonia and stray dogs while suffering so bad in return...and on and on. It's just my opinion but I think Rook, Ladonia, and the officer are being manipulated bigtime.

And as soon as the Chief instructs his officers not respond to the animal calls YOU will be the first to whine and complain to the City Council about the Police Officers not responding to YOUR dog complaint.

Keep your pooches penned or chained up and we won't have a problem then. Otherwise, bang bang they're dead.

Hindsight is 20/20...even to those so blind they refuse to see that the officer was doing HIS JOB! So you have a poor view of LEO's. Don't think that your view is that of the majority. If you FOLLOW THE LAWS you won't have any problems in society. STOP ENABLING BAD BEHAVIOUR!

Looked like a good shot to me. You forget the dog was running from the officer. The officer just used the wrong gun is all.

Who cares if this cop likes animals? Not only did he do a job he's really not trained to do he did it well. He got the dog off the streets and no one was hurt except the offending pooch. With the way this officer has been maligned in this blog you can probably bet the next dog gets a cooper jacketed slug instead of a tranquilizer dart. Then you bleedin' hearts can whine about him killin' the dog instead.
