WYNNEWOOD, OK - A Garvin County jury has found the man accused of beating another man to death nearly two years ago not guilty.

37-year-old James Justin Johnson of Wynnewood was charged with first degree manslaughter.

OSBI agents arrested Johnson after 34-year-old Chad Sims was found dead inside a Wynnewood home in Sept. 2010.

41-year-old Roland Brent Hately was also arrested in connection with Sim's death.

Hately pleaded guilty to first degree manslaughter in December.

Records show he is currently serving a 20 year sentence.
