1 quart heavy whipping cream 1 small tub ricotta cheese ΒΌ cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 stick butter Black pepper Italian seasoning 2 tbsp chopped garlic 2 boxes cooked Penne pasta Italian Bread crumbs
In large sauce pan melt butter and garlic on medium high until garlic sizzles, then add heavy cream, black pepper, and Italian seasoning and bring to a boil. Turn down to medium low and add parmesan cheese, reserving some to sprinkle on top, stirring until cheese melts into cream. Turn heat to low and let simmer for 4 to 5 min, stirring occasionally, or until thickened. In large mixing bowl add Alfredo and ricotta and mix well until ricotta is completely blended in. Combine pasta and sauce mixture until all pasta is coated. Pour pasta into large non stick baking dish, then sprinkle top with bread crumbs and bake at 375 for 30 to 40 mins or until golden brown and sauce bubbles in the dish. After the holidays you can also add grilled chicken or sausage and make a casserole for a full dinner for the family.
