Gary steps down in Gainesville

Lance Gary resigned as the head football coach at Gainesville, to take the same position at North Forney High School.
Gary served at Gainesville for four seasons, two as an assistant and two as the head coach. He took over in 2010, and led the Leopards to their first playoff berth since 2005.
"Gainesville has been great to me," Gary said. "North Forney is just an ideal situation for me. I am from that area, and it's a school with a great future. I really look forward to competing at the 4A level."
