Trompler leaves Bonham

Dale Trompler is expected to resign as head coach in Bonham to become a full time teacher with Canadian ISD.

According to Bonham superintendent Sonny Cruse, Trompler has not turned in his resignation, but the two have been in talks about Trompler leaving. Cruse believes that Trompler is simply waiting for his paper work to go through at Canadian before officially resigning his position in Bonham.

"Based on the conversations we have had, I expect that he is leaving," Cruse said. "We will begin the search immediately."

Bonham was home for Trompler, who graduated from BHS. He took over a program in 2009 that had gone 2-18 the previous two years. Bonham had improved to a 9-and-11 record over the past two seasons.
