Okla. State recruit helps US U18 team to win

Oklahoma State basketball signee Marcus Smart scored nine points and had five rebounds, six assists and four steals to help the USA U18 team beat Brazil 83-64 in the FIBA Americas U18 Championships in Brazil.

Smart started for the third consecutive game on Monday for the US team - which now advances to the medal round to play Argentina on Tuesday.

The winner of the USA-Argentina game will play the winner of the Canada-Brazil game for the gold medal.

Smart is an incoming freshman at OSU from Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas.
