(GARVIN COUNTY, OKLAHOMA) -- A preliminary hearing for a Garvin County man charged with 2nd degree murder has been pushed back to February 6th.
Authorities say Brandon Shane Christian brought his seriously injured girlfriend Desiree Hill to the hospital this past summer, she later died.
Investigators say the two had a history of abuse and violence. Online court records show, at Monday's hearing, state prosecutors asked for a continuance saying Hill's cause of death is unknown and claiming they need more time to arrange for the medical examiner to testify.
