Friday's storms will have the potential to generate hail in the morning, and hail plus wind and tornadoes later in the day. Flash flooding is also possible with torrential rain in spots. Boot Scootin Ball is the primary fund raiser for the Preston Emergency Volunteer Service (PVES). PVES provides fire services throughout 37 square miles of Preston Peninsula and the ambulance service covers 96 square miles. Five marinas and 13 youth camps are in the PVES service area. Over one million visitors visit Preston Peninsula every year.
