DAVIS, Okla. -- This week's A+ Athlete is Chelsey Brown of Davis High School. Chelsey is the valedictorian of her high school class with a perfect 4.0 grade point average. She is active on the student council, serves as a peer tutor, is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and is the co-editor of the yearbook.
Athletically, Chelsey is a starter for both the Lady Wolves basketball and softball teams. She says that being a leader on the court is actually not as difficult as it's made out to be.
Chelsey is also Big XII-bound. She's headed to Waco to attend Baylor University where she hopes to major in journalism.
