Microdermabrasion is a mechanical exfoliation that removes the outermost layer of dead skin cells and can be performed on the face, neck, chest, arms and hands. It takes about 20-30 minutes for the treatment and there's no down-time for the skin to recover.

How Does Microdermabrasion Work?

Microdermabrasion uses a hand-held device to spray microcrystals of aluminum oxide across the skin’s surface. The aluminum oxide is a very fine, sand-like material that blasts away the outermost layer of dead skin cells on the skin's epidermis.

Benefits of Microdermabrasion

It leaves skin with a fresher, more glowing look. It diminishes sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged and clogged pores, and rough thick skin. It also improves acne and acne scarring. It makes it easy for skin care products to actually penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and work more effectively. Skin is restored to a more youthful appearance.

What Results Can I Expect?

Poor health, diet, aging, stress, and the environment can all hinder the skin’s cell renewal process. Microdermabrasion accelerates the cellular turnover process, giving you healthier, younger-looking skin. It allows you to gradually resurface your skin without the risks, side effects, and down time of more aggressive alternatives.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

For best results, it is recommended you get a series of treatments and use medical-grade skin care products at home. Typically, treatments are scheduled one to two weeks apart. You will experience a progressive improvement throughout your treatment program.

How Will My Skin Look Afterward?

Microdermabrasion leaves your skin feeling soft and you will notice a healthy glow to your complexion. Due to the increase in circulation, you may experience a mild temporary redness. If this occurs, it usually fades fairly quickly. You may also apply your make-up immediately after ward if needed.

How Much Does It Cost?

The price for a single microdermabrasion treatment for full face is around $100, and there is a discount if purchased in packages. Prices vary depending on the area being treated.
