Robert Mears from the Texoma Vintage and Classic Car Club joins us to talk about this Saturday's 23rd Annual car show, in the Denison High School parking lot.
The TVCCC is 40 years old this year. Their membership extends from Dallas/Fort Worth into Oklahoma. This year's show will attract around 200 show cars. The value of these cars will be from a few thousand dollars to perhaps seventy-five thousand or more. Basically, it's a million+ dollar show!
The TVCCC gives several thousand dollars each year to local charities, as well. Over the last forty years, they have given three to four thousand dollars a year.
