Gardening Texoma: Terrariums

*Glass container (jar) w/ lid w/ any size or shape.
*Pea Gravel, pebbles, or coarse sand; for drainage.
*Activated Charcoal (type used in aquarium filter).
*Sphagnum Moss.
*Organic potting soil; no additives.
*Small potted plants; terrarium plants need to be chosen for their compatibility in watering, and humidity needs. Choose plants of varying height, shape, texture and color to create the desired landscape effect. Light needs need also to be addressed.
*Be sure to soak potted plants before planting. Soak plants in distilled water w/ no chlorine treated water.
*Dressing (applying) soil off plants, use spray water bottle.
*Add about 6 ozs. of distilled or bottled water.
*You can personalize your terrarium w/ figureans.
* Cover w/ lid. You are the landscaper of your own ecosystem.

    I made the terrariums this past weekend with my kids. They turned out great. a little on the expesive side for a plant. but the results were great. good job guys, keep coming up with ideas for bad weather days.
