Gardening Texoma: Drainage

French drain solid conductor pipe down spout adaptation and pond overflow roof water control drainage emitters and erosion control are all part of a good drainage system.

We can do dry river beds, that are basically a swelled channel that allows gravity to move water and still have the decorative self.

Ponds built next to large decks tend to be vulnerable to water runoff, this is a good location to install a french drain, dry river bed.

My all time favorite discharge of water is the 6" or 8" emitters which allows for no pests, rodents, or critters.

The emitter has a pocket of gravel below it with a 1/4" drilled hole in the bottom of PDC 90.

While the top only pops of 1/2" and depresses water at a 360 degree radius and after water discharge is finished it drops back down with gravity and creates a nice flow system.
