When will the other winners pics be posted???????

Darline, The audience vote is only supposed to be 30% of the vote...the "judges" have the other 70%....

I would like information on how to download the application to enter the contest, I have clicked the link and nothing happeneds.

The audience does vote. So bring people with you. I competed in the showdown July 12th and won my round of fifteen and under (My name's Jacob Irvin). Yes, speaking to one of the earlier commenters, there were three winners that night. One from my class and two from the 16 and above class. The audience vote counts for only 30% of your overall score. So it can't really be called a popularity contest. The finals for 15 and under will be held on September 13th. 16 and above will be July 20th. There will be some amazing talent at both shows, so make sure to show support for your favorite contestant!!

Please post photos and name of the new winners. We all want to know who we will be watching at the finals September 20th. Does anyone know how they do the audience vote? My daughter will be singing soon and I want to know if I should try and bring a bus of people or if at least some of the audience is not there for one particular person. I am afraid the audience vote will make it a popularity contest rather than a singing contest, and my daughter is great but not from the area. We live so far out most people cannot afford the gas to come support her. What should we do?

I have seen ALL of the shows so far and I am sooooo impressed with both of the young ladies from Pottsboro! They are the best so far in that age group! I am looking forward to hearing much more from them in the future! I want BOTH of them to win!

Tara Wilson did a fabulous job at this show! She is definitely "in it to win it"! She has a remarkably big voice and can certainly hold those notes! Loved it!

How about calling this event KXII Texoma Showcase. No need to add "showdown" to it.

Posted by: Anonymous Location: Sherman on May 13, 2008 at 01:57 PM
Why can't ya'll come up with an original name? " Showcase Showdown " is the finale on the Price Is Right! What a rip! Drew Carey should sue.

I would like to know more about the Showcase Showdown. I want to paricipate in it this year. It'll be my first time hearing and doing it.
