    I think this report was quite interesting. I agree that some people are more predisposed toward being non-monogamous... note I didn't say cheating, but non-monogamous. There are people out there who have open marriages. Mine is one. I noticed Barbara Roland mentioned that honesty (communication) is the "cure" to maintain a monogamous marriage. I say that same "cure" can help a marriage remain strong even thru non-monogamy. When you consider that 50% of supposedly monogamous marriages end in divorce, and the majority of those are due to infidelity, then consider that less than 20% of open marriages end in divorce. There is a large difference in those statistics. The difference is that in an open marriage, the people have a greater tendency toward complete honesty and fully open communication. They really have to be, in order for it to work and be successful. YES, it is necessary in ANY marriage, but open marriages tend to practice this principle much more than monogamous ones.
