Beginners Knitting Class

The Red River Historical Museum is sponsoring a Beginners Knitting Class as well as other events throughout the year to encourage residents to visit the facility.

JANUARY EVENTS!

ARTS & CRAFT SATURDAY- JANUARY 16TH 9:30 to noon-BEGINNER'S KNITTING
Arts & Craft classes for 2010 will generally be offered in 3-month increments. Taught by Dorothy McKee, Beginner's Knitting is free and open to the public but there will be a charge for materials. Be sure to sign up early so you'll be assured of a place at the craft table!

LUNCH LECTURE SERIES-JANUARY 22ND 12:00noon-JOANNA CLARK'S SOPHIA
Lunch Lectures are presented, free and open to the public, on 4th Fridays. Attendees are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch; chips & bottled water available for a small donation. The Jones Street door will open at 11:30am for easier access to the lecture room.

FEBRUARY EVENTS!

FIFTH ANNUAL RED RIVER ROAD SHOW-FEBRUARY 6TH 10:00-3:00pm
Antique dealers will be on hand with free information regarding your collectibles! You may make a $10 donation to the museum for each object; limit of 3 per person (no guns, knives or large pieces of furniture, please)
