This week's A+ Athlete is Carion Pelton from Ardmore High School. With an impressive 3.85 GPA, Carion is also a National Honor Society member, an Oklahoma Scholar, and a Blue Ribbon Scholar. He's also earned a spot on both the superintendent's and principal's honor rolls.

Not only is Carion a leader in the classroom, but he's a leader in Tiger sports as well. In football, he plays wide receiver and free safety, calling all the defensive coverages. He's also a part of the 4 x 800 relay team on the state champion track team, and he plays basketball, too.

Carion's coaches say he's the ultimate team player, and he's the type of person that they and his teammates like to be around.
