Grayson Home Health owner/administrator Kelly Sexton, Assistant Administrator Deborah Burchfield, and the Easter Bunny (Beau Sexton) brought over easter baskets that had been put together by their staff on Wednesday. For the second year in a row, Grayson Home Health challenged their employees to put together Easter baskets for the Grayson County Crisis Center clients.
Judges were selected from the community and the winning department got a prize. The real winners were the Crisis Center clients because they received numerous goodies, including dvds, gift cards, family games, spa baskets, and many other pampering items.
Rachel Morgan, the Crisis Center's Executive Director says, "I think that what we're planning to do is distribute baskets to everyone on Easter and then pull out some things that can be used in the shelter year-round. Put aside a few things for kids and parents that come in a little later on in the year."
Any business or organization can host team building or friendly competitions within their staff to raise awareness and support a good cause. Please visit the Crisis Center 's website, grayson-crisiscenter.org, if you would like to do an event like the Easter baskets.
