Golf Tournament in honor of Justin who was killed in a single car accident in Pottsboro, TX on June 13, 2009. Parents are Jack and Sue Pittman and brother Lucas of Pottsboro. Justin grew up in Pottsboro and attended Texas Tech University and was a Kappa Alpha Alumni. At the time of his death, he was a senior at Southeastern University in Durant, OK and was scheduled to graduate in December 2009. Justin was awarded his posthumous Bachelor of Business Administration degree at the December 12, 2009 commencement. He loved his family, friends and never met a stranger.
Awards in Justin's name will be given each year to a Junior or Senior Marketing or Management major and a graduating senior from Pottsboro High School that will be attending Southeastern University. Also a new scholarship fund was established in 2011 at Grayson College in Justin's name.
