A Quick Labor Day Recipe with Josh Aaron from the Island Bar & Grill

The Island Bar & Grill in Pottboro is one of the most popular lake restaurants. Their chef, Josh Aaron, joins us to share a quick recipe for a stuffed green chile to enjoy this holiday weekend if you have plans to grill - or head out to the Island Bar & Grill.

For your stuffed stuffed green chile, add any ingredients you like. We chose cheese, marinated baby shrimp, bacon, and chopped cilantro. Around a quarter of a cup for each ingedient to each chile.

Blanche the chile so they won't tear if they are stiff.

Cook on the grill until there is a good mark on them. Pop into the oven if you desire to soften them.
