It's no doubt that, after your Thanksgiving feast, your refrigerator is filled with leftovers today and will be for the coming weeks. Chef Josh Aaron has a creative recipe for your leftovers.
Thanksgiving Leftover Empanadas
1 package pie crust
leftover turkey, ham, sweet potatoes
1/4 cup water
Lay out pie crust on flat service and cut in to 4 pieces. Fill the middle
of each piece with a little of each mixture. Making sure to save room to
seal edges. Fold the crust over the the top to make a pocket and crimp the
edges. Mix egg and water and brush over top and poke small vent holes in
top. Bake at 350 in preheated oven for 30 to 40 min or golden brown.
