Sunday Afternoon and Evening ... Scattered intense thunderstorms are expected, some severe. Large hail, high winds and the potential for isolated tornadoes will be the main threats. Locally heavy is rain also possible with these storms.
Al Brunson, President of the North Texas Senior Dance Club, wants to get the word out about the benefits dancing can have. And, for those 50 and above, there's an opportunity to get great exercise and socialize in a smoke/alcohol/profanity-free environment right here in Texoma.
On Wednesdays, from 12:30-3pm (free/tips for band appreciated), and on 2nd Fridays of the month, from 7-10pm ($5), join the Club at the Municipal Ballroom in Sherman. You can be new to dancing, or a pro, and the goal is to have fun in a good, clean environment, and to feel the great benefits of dancing.
