The Sam Rayburn House in Bonham is having a Grand Re-Opening on Saturday, March 17th from 11am-4:30pm. Site Manager, Carole Stanton, tells us they are thrilled to be re-opening after a year of restorations closed down the House for an entire year.
Admission is free and tours will be given of the grounds. The historic home of the longest-serving U.S. Speaker of the House was built in 1916.
A presentation will be at 11am, and an exhibit showing the restoration - before and after - will also open on Saturday.
