The U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors are coming to town Saturday, March 24th, and giving a free concert

The U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors of Washington D.C. will be presenting a free public concert at Eisenhower Auditorium at Denison High School on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 7pm. The concert is sponsored by the Denison Chamber of Commerce, Denison Community Foundation and the Herald Democrat.

The Jazz Ambassadors travel thousands of miles each year throughout the world. Since it formed in 1969, they have appeared in all 50 states and throughout North America, Asia, and Europe.

Members of the Ambassadors are chosen through highly-competitive auditions. They will perform a very diverse program, with big band swing, Dixieland, and patriotic selections - to name just a few.
