Today, November 10, 2011, marks the 236th birthday of the United States Marine Corps. On November 10, 1775, the Corps was founded in Tun Tavern in Philadelphia. Since that time, the power of the Marine Corps has helped in making the United States of America the land of the free and the home of the brave.
