Today is the 236th Birthday of the US Marine Corps - Major Karl Tinson Joins Us
Today, November 10, 2011, marks the 236th birthday of the United States Marine Corps. On November 10, 1775, the Corps was founded in Tun Tavern in Philadelphia. Since that time, the power of the Marine Corps has helped in making the United States of America the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Joining us today on First News AM is Major Karl Tinson. His words about what inspired him to join the Marine Corps and his thoughts about Veterans Day are inspiring and profound. We are honored to have him spend a few minutes with us.
