Sunday Afternoon and Evening ... Scattered intense thunderstorms are expected, some severe. Large hail, high winds and the potential for isolated tornadoes will be the main threats. Locally heavy is rain also possible with these storms.
With leaders like Lindsey Holder and Brianna Stowers leading the way, awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco usage is being raised. On Thursday, March 22, 2012, as part of National Kick Butts Day, Tom Bean High School Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the FFA will host a Kick Butt Rally!
The rally will take place in the Tom Bean High School gymnasium, beginning at 6pm. The purpose of National Kick Butt Day and the rally is to celebrate selecting a tobacco-free lifestyle and to focus on the importance of making wise decisions in life.
