Jury sentences Paris man to life behind bars for wife's murder

PARIS,TX-- A Paris man has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his wife.

Wednesday afternoon, a jury handed down a guilty verdict for Byron Barrett.

Shortly after their ruling, they met to discuss his sentence.

Just before 5pm, the jury handed down a decision of life in prison.

Barrett's wife was found stabbed to death, multiple times, inside her home last April.
