1 arrested, 1 missing after high speed chase in Atoka

ATOKA, OK -- Atoka Police are searching for a man who allegedly led officers on a high speed chase, then ran off on foot.

Atoka Police say they pulled over Brandon Steven Burkhalter's vehicle Wednesday night around 9 p.m. near 3rd and Mississippi.

When officers approached the vehicle he took off at high speeds through a residential area.

Then bailed out of the vehicle near the Atoka Football Field and took off on foot.

Passenger Natalie Mobbs was taken into custody.

Police say both Burkhalter and Mobbs face drug charges.

Authorities are still searching for Burkhalter who also faces a charge of felony alluding a police officer.
